Parco San Rossore Migliarino Massaciuccoli,
11-24 March 2018, Pisa, Italy
 
 

MASSACIUCCOLI LAKE AND MARSH RAMSAR SITE; is a wetland protected area under Ramsar Convention, which is included within the Parco de San Rossore (Ramsar Designation 22/06/2017). Other protection designations: UNESCO Biosphere Reserve SELVA PISANA and Natura 2000 SCI-SPA Site Selva Pisana.
 
 


ORGANIZERS
The course is organized by INSTITUTE OF ECOSYSTEM STUDY - NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL (ISE/CNR)
and by UNIVERSITY OF PISA
Institute of Ecosystem Study is located at the beautiful city of Pisa, situated at the core of Tuscany Region.

 


ACCOMODATION
The accomodation will be in the core of the Parco San Rossore at Hostel Casale La Sterpaia

 

STUDENTS:
University of Pisa (Italy), University of Athens (Greece), University of Lisbon (Portugal), University of Santiago the Compostela (Spain)
The students of these universities interested in attending the course must send, only one file (PDF) including:
- Curriculum Vitae (Europass, preferably).
- Cover letter. explaining your main interest in the topic, including in the letter if you are interested in the training course, in the internship or in both.
- English: The minimum level required is B2.

COURSE OUTLINE:
CLASROOM SESSIONS AND ONLINE TEACHING
By a multidisciplinary team of international tutors, applying an innovative learning approach which combines presential with e-learning through a dedicated virtual platfom.

FIELD TRIPS
A significant part of the course will be developed through field practices, based on case studies and real-world projects,  addressing the topics of the LANDCARE.

22/03/2018 -  Wildlife management and soil conservation (Cinqueterre National Park).
