The Meeting took place at the Faculty of Education Sciences, at University of Santiago de Compostela (42º52'29.92''N 8º33'43.9822W). The Faculty of Education Scienes is located at CAMPUS VIDA which has been recognized with the qualification of Campus of International Excellence by the Ministries of Education and Innovation in 2009.

OUTCOMES OF THE CONFERENCE
Landcare for the Future pursued to contribute to improving educational and training capacities in relation to Ecological Restoration. This is necessary to preserve our environment and also to fulfil the demands of an emerging labour market and create novel job opportunities. The conference  broutght together specialists on environment, education and employment from around the world to share their different approaches and insights.

Types of contributions received:
LandCare for the Future served as a forum for the exchange of Educational and Training paths related to global environmental threats (wildfire, contamination of soils and water, degradation of wetland ecosystems, coastal degradation, and overexploitation of agricultural and forest landscapes). It also considered the application of innovative technologies and tools in education and good practices to improve employability and entrepreneurship skills.
